Just Heat ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through www.jheat.co.uk. You can contact us at j.heat.plumbing@gmail.com.
What data we collect
- Contact/enquiry form submissions: name, email, phone number, and any message details you provide
- Analytics data: anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type, general location) via Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Analytics
How we use it and our lawful basis
- Responding to your enquiry, legitimate interest / performance of a contract
- Understanding site usage and improving the website, consent (via the cookie banner)
Who we share it with
We use the following third parties to run the site and respond to enquiries:
- Formspree (form submissions)
- Google (Analytics)
- Cloudflare (hosting and security)
- Just Heat's website is built and maintained by My Trade Kit Ltd, who may access this data solely to provide website and marketing services under agreement
We may also disclose your data:
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of business assets, or restructuring, in which case your data may be transferred as part of that transaction
- Where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others
International transfers
Some of the providers above are based outside the UK/EEA (including the US). Where this happens, they rely on legally recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is needed for legal or accounting reasons. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Request your data in a portable format

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at j.heat.plumbing@gmail.com so we can delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure hosting and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
